Marie Mathews is a Los Angeles native who grew up in & around “Hollywood”.   She has been managing the careers of actors and musicians for over three decades.

From the time Marie began her career in 1989 as an assistant to esteemed talent agents Bryan Lourd and Josh Lieberman at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), she has been known for her love of talent. 

In 1992, Marie joined Tom Cruise and [Tom’s former longtime CAA Agent] Paula Wagner's newly formed production company based at Paramount Pictures, C/W Productions, where she worked in development on the feature films MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE and WITHOUT LIMITS (starring Billy Crudup and Robert Duvall). 

Due to her passion for working with actors, in 1994, Marie made a move into management, joining Addis-Wechsler & Associates (now Industry Entertainment), where she worked with prominent film & TV stars.

In 1997, compelled by the Australian market, Marie became the ‘go-to’ liaison for discovering untapped Australian talent.  She consulted on films with Australian elements, including MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2, which was filmed in Australia.

In 1998, Marie joined legendary music manager Doc McGhee at McGhee Entertainment to form the company's theatrical division, representing actors and crossover musicians, as well as overseeing Artists’ image development and media relations for top-level music artists.  

In 2005, Marie started her own boutique-sized management company representing a select group of intriguing Artists in film, television, and sometimes music.  Marie loves what she does and who she does it for.  Marie’s motto is ‘quality, not quantity’.
